Mileeven, is located in the beautiful countryside of South County Kilkenny, just outside the village of Owning. Mileeven began as bee-keepers, selling what they produced, straight from the bees to the consumer. The name "Mileeven" comes from the Irish "mil" and "aobhainn" which means delightful or delicious honey and the Owning area has been a rich source of honey for generations. Meleeven was established by Eilis Gough in 1988 from a hobby of beekeeping. Now run by Eilis and her daughter, Sarah, the continue to offer award winning Irish honey and new innovative, high quality products.
